Behind the Lens Series - Sun Spots?

Remember when the air was thick with soot in the summer of 2023 from the forest fires in Canada? The fires were creating smog all the way down through South Carolina and beyond. It created a haze which allowed you to look at the sun. So, I grabbed my Nikon camera with my 600mm zoom lens and walked out the front door to see if I could get a picture of the sun. I didn’t realize what I had captured until I had a chance to download the picture and see it on my desktop computer.
