What types of photography do you specialize in?
As a photographer in Fort Mill, SC, I specialize in sports, portraits, couples, engagements, senior pics, prom pics, and landscape photography. Whether you're looking for a timeless headshot, dynamic game-day moments, newborn pictures, scenic prints, or something meaningful with your significant other - I've got you covered. Bottom line, I can do just about any type of photography, so let me know what your goals are and what you are looking to achieve.
Who have I photographed for and how long have I been taking pictures?
I've taken pictures for many different events and people since 2020. I've taken professional headshots, action shots for local and travel soccer clubs, volleyball teams, football teams, newborn photos, engagement photos, prom pics, senior pics, traveled to remote locations for landscape shots, captured unique pictures of flowers, plants, the sun & moon, and more. If you can imagine it, I can capture it.
Where do you shoot?
I shoot from my home in Fort Mill for portraits or headshots, and I shoot on-location around the Fort Mill and Charlotte area. If you have a specific location in mind, let me know. I'm also happy to suggest locations based on what you are trying to accomplish or the vibe you are trying to achieve.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes. I'm available for travel, but in very limited circumstances. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance. I've taken pictures in multiple states and as far away as Hawaii. Reach out and let's talk details.
How do I book a session?
Booking is simple - just head over to the contact now page, fill out the short contact form, and I'll get back to you within a few days to discuss and confirm.
How far in advance should I schedule?
To ensure availability, I recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance. I'm on the road frequently so the more time we can plan the better. If you're working with a tighter timeline, feel free to reach out - I'll do my best to accommodate your request.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Once we connect and agree to a time and date, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date and time. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.
What happens if there is bad weather?
No worries - I keep an eye on the forecast around Fort Mill and the greater Charlotte area. If we're planning on an outdoor session and the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll reschedule at no extra cost.
How long does a typical session last?
It depends. If we are doing a headshot or portraits, it can last 10 to 20 minutes. If I'm at a game capturing action shots, I'll be there for the game. For the past several years, I've been taking pictures for the Catawba Ridge Men's Soccer Team. If we are taking prom pictures or couples engagement shots as an example, it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.
What camera equipment do I use?
I shoot with Nikon Mirrorless Cameras. It's the latest technology and the pictures that can be produced from the equipment are second-to-none. I have a range of lenses for various types of pictures from wide-angle landscape shots to zoom lenses to catch every moment on the field.
What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel like you. In the summer months in Fort Mill it can be quite hot, so keep that in mind. Solid colors work well, and avoiding busy patterns helps keep the focus on you. My wife and I are happy to help with outfit ideas before your session!
When will I get my photos?
You'll receive a preview of your photos within a few days. Your full gallery will be delivered in 2-4 weeks. It's important to let me know in advance how you want your photos - digital, print, or both.
How will I receive my images, and can I print them?
You'll get a link to your own private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos in high resolution. You'll have full printing rights for personal use. You can print them yourself or order professional prints through my third-party print service. Just let me know what types of professional prints you're looking for so I can set the gallery up for you.
Do you offer retouching?
Yes - every photo you receive is professionally edited and lightly retouched. I use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. If you'd like more detailed edits, just let me know.
